The Alpujarra and Sierra Nevada contain a large variety of low and high (Mulhácen: 3.482m) mountain ranges. Starting from the south side of the Sierra Nevada, the Alpujarra is shaped with high mountains ridges and deep ravines. Towards the coast it changes more into "hilly" mountains. Therefore there is a great variety of difficulty-degrees possible for various sport activities. The nature as well is very diverse because of the different height-levels, you can't get tired of looking at this mountain area. With approximately 300 sunny days in the year, the Alpujarra is suitable for outdoor activities nearly all year around.

Through Art and Adventure there are, next to the quadbike tours which we organize ourselves, a lot of other sporting and adventurous activities possible for example:

-Horse riding: Art and Adventure takes you to the Ranch of Caballo Blanco.
Enjoy the ride of a life time on Andalucian and Andalucian crossbred horses. Explore the breathtaking beauty of the Alpujarra on horseback. Riding on ancient mule tracks where no car can go.
Rides from 1 to 8 hours are available from € 20. Suitable for all levels including children from 5 years upwards.
-Mountain climbing: is in the professional hands of Spanish Highs. This organisation has, with several instructors, great experience in the area of the Sierra Nevada. You will be guided in walking and scrambling, rock-climbing in low and high mountains, snowshoeing or ice climbing in the winter season.
Prices starting from € 50: for half a day rock-climbing. Group discount, via Art and Adventure possible.
-Mountain biking, the area offers superb biking. From heavy climbing tours to long descents, miles of technical tracks as well as more gentle trails.
A guide will cost you starting from € 20 for half a day, renting a mountain bike starts from € 10 half a day.

The activities can be selected individually as you wish, in cooperation with local parties. Art & Adventure doesn't ask money for inter-mediation. Obviously there are costs from external services of others, or direct costs like fuel for transport to another location. Our reward will be your satisfied stay in our Guest house.
