With the artistic support of Lisa you will go into the mountains to experience renewing drawing and painting skills. Tremendous views, the beautiful nature and rural villages are objects inviting you to draw.

The purpose of these workshop day(s) is specially to enjoy the view, the mountain villages and your creativity. Your work doesn't necessarily have to be a "matching picture". Just go with the painting and, for example, experiment with colours and material.

The realistic drawing/painting issues like perspective, colour, shadow and proportisons will be part of the training. But experimenting and discovering (and appreciating) your own style is more important.

This is how a workshop day can look:
We will leave between 9.00 and 10.00 am. We will drive in the van, loaded with drawing and painting materials and tools, to the spot where we will work. In the Art arrangement we will visit a different spot each day.
The first exercise enables you to look in a different way, more openly, at the subject and to "loosen up " your hand a bit. The practise could be for example to express the light or just the shadow. Every day we will use another technique and material.
After the coffee/tea break you will start to work on a subject of your choice. Mostly people choose to paint on canvas (board) with acrylic paint. We will work until 14.00 pm.

The guidance will be adjusted if needed and is specially focused on supporting and developing pre-existing drawing and painting-style of the individual.
Drawing/painting experience is not needed. Please bring a portfolio to be able to transport your work back home safely.

A visit to the Alhambra, a beautiful Arabic palace, in Granada is part of the Art arrangement.
In Granada there are a lot of other beautiful sites, like the old Moorish quarter, which are worth visiting.

It is possible to do a day workshop or a weekly arrangement. Look at "Prices" about the costs and about what is included.

8 Art participants maximum a week.
Partners, who don't want to do 'Art', can stay in our guest house and join in, for example, the 'Adventure' activities!
Next to these dates it is possible to book an other date by a group (2 till 8 participants.
